Ely Community Resource

ECR is a community based non-profit dedicated to providing all Ely area youth with opportunities to develop as an individual and as a citizen.  Programs include mentoring by caring adult community members, academic enrichment activities, tutoring and homework help, service learning and leadership activities, as well as recreation opportunities that build a supportive peer group.  This work is done by a staff of 5 and a small army of volunteers.

Essentia Health-Ely Clinic

Essentia Health-Ely Clinic is located on the campus of Ely-Bloomenson Hospital and Nursing Home, allowing area residents and visitors easy access to 24-hour emergency medicine and transitional care. We are a group of over 180 people with expertise in almost all areas of mental well-being from birth to 100. Our staff are equipped to help with emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, chemical use, and school performance to name a few. We work with families to resolve these issues by identifying options and resources to maintain the family circle.

Northern Lights Clubhouse is a place where adults with mental health challenges have the opportunity to make and reach personal goals through meaningful work. Our clubhouse is a healing and mentoring environment for persons who have had their lives disrupted by mental illness and need the support of others who believe that recovery is possible.

The heart of the Northern Lights Clubhouse is structured, meaningful activity offering opportunities to develop skills, pursue interests, and engage with other members and staff. The Clubhouse is unique in that participants are members and the focus is on strengths and successes.  Members and staff work side-by-side, as colleagues, in an atmosphere of mutual caring and respect, performing a wide variety of tasks necessary to the operation of the organization.
